Great story (in print and video) on Kazmaier at GoPrincetonTigers.com
Went to high school with Dick Kazmaier, and yearn for athletes to, once again, be of his demeanor, intelligence, and character. He is a lost breed. First and foremost, he was a
wonderful student, friend to all, and a natural athlete. Not big in stature, he was big in every
other way. He wasn’t an “in your face” athlete as are the athletes of today…..grabbing headlines
and being an embarrassment to their schools.
Thanks for the comments on Mr. Kazmaier. I really appreciate it.
Yes, Mr. Kazmaier was a special breed and a giant among men. They don’t make ’em like that anymore, do they?
He will be missed.
