If you know me, you know that I am NOT a fan of a playoff in college football. However, I thought I would at least share the fact that the (now inevitable) playoff has its own website: CollegeFootballPlayoff.com
Just passing the info along, as always.
[Update] I noticed (at the bottom of the page at CollegeFootballPlayoff.com) that the 2017 semi-final games are set to be played in the Chick-fil-a Bowl and the Fiesta Bowl. If this is what we can look forward to with a playoff, then go ahead and count me as already bored.
I like the playoffs and will welcome it when it expands, and it will. But I couldn’t tell where the championship is played. That schedule was more than I could handle. Where is the championship game?
You are right, the playoff will expand at some point. I think this is the beginning of the end for college football….at least in terms of how we know it right now.
Also, to answer your question: “Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, will be awarded the College Football Playoff’s first national championship game, to be held Jan. 12, 2015.”

Travis, check out the gem I found on Bob Stoops at my site when you get a chance. Gig ‘Em!
BTW, I need a job. Any suggestions?
As for Stoops…yeah, I read about that. I am guessing he must have just gotten tired of fielding SEC questions. Who knows!? Either way, he kind of made himself look like an idiot.
Oh, and check your email too. I sent you a note.
Hi Travis, got the note, thanks. Will respond in the morning.
