I don’t normally make posts like this but I realized that it was 13 years ago today (on March 3, 2012) that I posted for the first time on OnePointSafety.com (“OPS”). While I would like to post more regularly, I am still rather shocked that I have kept this going for 13 years.

I could say that OPS is older than 13 years, as I had wanted to start a college football blog or site long before March 3, 2012. In fact, I had a couple of college football oriented blogs long before I started OPS.*

However, in 2011, I had graduated from law school and was working for a law firm in Houston, Texas when I started contemplating the idea of a new college football blog that would eventually become OPS. I am pretty certain that OPS’s URL registration date was earlier than March 3, 2012, and I am fairly sure that this site was created on WordPress.com earlier than March 3, 2012 as well.

For these reasons, I could say the birthday for OPS was earlier, but seeing that the first post was on March 3, 2012, it makes sense to say that that is the birthday.

Anyway, 13 years later and it is still here!

* NOTE: If you look into the post history of OPS, you will see posts from before March 3, 2012. This is because I have moved some older posts from my older blogs over to OPS, and when I moved them, I published them according to their original publication dates.
